The 2008 Prespawn Mortality Study is just around the corner and this is your chance to get out of the office and get involved with us and our colleagues at NOAA Fisheries. So please check with your supervisor, get approval and volunteer to come out a few times this fall to help us with the surveys. All Day Registration for the Bellingham LID Technical Workshop Series is now open
As part of the Puget Sound Initiative, Washington State University will present a series of four new LID technical workshops in four locations around Puget Sound. Funding for the workshops is provided by the Puget Sound Partnership. These two-day workshops, with instruction by regional and national experts in the field, will provide the technical details necessary to properly design, build and maintain LID practices. Registration for classes held in Bellingham is now open. Bellingham classes:
* Bioretention - September 10th and 11th
* Clearing, Grading and Site Planning - October 1st and 2nd
* Green Roofs, LID Foundations and Rainwater Collection - October 22nd and 23rd
