THE HEALTH OF PUGET SOUND
Despite our coordinated, integrated and strategic approach to restoring Puget Sound, the threats it faces continue to outpace our efforts to combat them. While we are seeing incremental progress in measures related to habitat restoration and protection efforts, our salmon, orcas and other native species continue to struggle. Meanwhile, the continuing impacts of population growth, climate change, and ocean acidification continue to add pressure on our ecosystem health. The State of the Sound reports on implementation and recovery progress.
